Yesterday, I was listening to one of my favorite sound tracks, Kiki’s Delivery Service (Kiki la petite sociere). I first watched this movie when I was about eleven. I enjoyed this movie a lot at the time for the exotic setting of the story and the magic. I, as a child, like the city where Kiki stayed, the seaport with the hills behind. I also wanted to get the unique ability like this little witch; I did not want to fly but to be able to do excellent and magical paintings.

I watched it several times after I became an adult. I still like it a lot and I have got new thoughts from the film. Through the film, I see that we need to overcome our own fears and shortcomings in order to get further in our life. Kiki lost her power all of a sudden. She did not know what to do. Who is she without the magic? Is she nothing more than other ordinary girls? This is all about doubt of her life and the confidence. She regained her ability at the last minute because she has no doubt of her own uniqueness and because she needed to use it to save Tombo. The story between Tombo and Kiki continues in the second volume of the novels. I loved the story. I do recommend you to read it if you like the world of wizardry.

I think the soundtrack does not only bring us back to the movie but also further in our heart. I feel like traveling through a bright city with sea breeze with aid of this soundtrack.

This list represents the soundtrack that I like a lot and I listen to the most. The love letter is the CD that I really recommend. If you have not watched this movie, you should check it out and I bet you will love it. This CD is my cure for insomnia. The tempo is just right to take me to the snow land.

Romeo & Juliet is worth mentioning for it great collection of songs. Desree’s Kissing You is really sad and beautiful, but the song that I like most is the last track, You and Me Song by The Wannadies. This song is so cute and fresh. Unfortunately, the group is not very popular in Taiwan.
